Ultima 6 & Wing Commander Combo Pack Box Art

A third set of Ultima 6-related photographs found in the Mythic Archives; these were also — like the cloth map template photographs — taken by Chris Reid of the Wing Commander CIC.

Those of you who recall the Origin Systems product catalogues of yesterdecade will perhaps recall that, at one time, Ultima 6 and Wing Commander were released in a single box set. We don’t get a look at box templates here; these look much more like final prints.

And check out the price quoted on the front! Obviously, this set would have sold for less, but there was a time where buying these two games separately would have cost $140 USD. (And $140 went a lot further, just in general, back in the 1990s!)
