Ultima Artwork by Lee MacLeod

Artist Lee MacLeod was responsible for creating some of the iconic covers for the console ports of Ultima IV,Ultima VUltima VI, and Runes of Virtue I and II.  He has been so kind as to allow The Origin Gallery to host theUltima IV and Ultima VI covers from his website at this location.  As well, he has specially created rather high-quality scans of  his original artwork for Ultima V and Runes of Virtue I, so that they might be hosted here for public viewing.

We at The Origin Gallery are indebted to his gracious nature, and present to you the original artwork for four original Ultima covers.

Take a look at this beautiful work folks, they help show the care and detail that went into some of the early videogame box covers.
